# Managing teams, offices and branches

## Overview

Most agencies aren't one undifferentiated blob—there are offices, branches, departments. **Teams** let you mirror that structure in Qualy and scope work so each group sees what's theirs.

## Creating teams

1. Go to **Settings → Manage teams**
2. **Create a team** for each office, branch or department
3. **Add users** to each team

## Scoping work to teams

Assign **customers** and **payouts** to teams so each group works with its own. List views make this practical:

- **All**
- **Assigned to me**
- **Assigned to my team**

Teams scope **assignments and visibility**; **roles and permissions** control what a user can *do*. Use them together: a team decides whose customers these are, permissions decide what each member can change.

Set up teams to match your real-world structure, then default people to "Assigned to my team" so their daily list is automatically the right one.
