# Privacy, GDPR and experiments

## Quick summary

Settings → Privacy & GDPR has two switches: turn on GDPR options across every tool that collects personal data, and allow (or block) Qualy employees from temporarily accessing your account for support. Settings → Experiments shows which experimental features (such as Orders, Notifications or Chat) are switched on for your account; each shows an Enabled or Disabled status. To turn one on or off, contact Qualy.

Two account-level controls sit together here: how your data is handled, and which new features you've turned on.

## Privacy & GDPR

**Settings → Privacy & GDPR** has two switches:

- **GDPR compliance** — turn on GDPR options by default across every tool that collects personal data, so consent is handled consistently.
- **Qualy employee access** — choose whether Qualy employees may **temporarily** access your account to help with support and troubleshooting.

## Experiments

**Settings → Experiments** shows the **experimental features**—newer capabilities being trialled, such as **Orders**, **Notifications** or **Chat**. Each shows a status of **Enabled** or **Disabled** for your account. These are switched on or off by Qualy, so to start or stop one, **contact Qualy**.

If a feature you've read about isn't visible, it may be an **experiment** that isn't enabled on your account—check here, and reach out to Qualy if you'd like it turned on.

Experiments are a low-risk way to try what's new. If one looks useful, ask Qualy to enable it for your account; you can have it switched off again later if it doesn't fit.

### What does Privacy & GDPR cover?

It may be an experiment that isn't enabled on your account. Check Settings → Experiments.

### Who can change these settings?

Access depends on permissions—typically administrators manage privacy settings and experiments.
