Finish all tasks before signing. Completing compliance keeps payments and payouts flowing. ## Overview Handling payments comes with obligations. The **Compliance** area collects everything Qualy needs from you—tasks and verification—so your account stays in good standing and money keeps moving. ## Completing tasks The area lists tasks to complete, such as: - **Review or update** information - **Download a template** and return it - **Open a verification link** Work through them all. **Finish all tasks before signing.** The area flags when requirements are still outstanding, and you won't be able to complete the submission until they're done. ## Uploading documents Some tasks ask you to upload a document. What's accepted depends on the document, and each upload screen spells it out for you. Common examples: ### For your business A **certificate of incorporation** (the legal name must match what you entered), a **sample tax invoice** showing your business name, address and tax number, and a **recent bank statement** (dated within the last three months, showing your official address). ### For an individual **Proof of identity** (a passport, driver's license or national ID—both sides if it's a card), **proof of address** (a utility bill, bank statement or similar dated within the last three months), and sometimes a **selfie / ID check** completed on our verification partner's secure site via a link. Make sure the details on every document **match what you've entered in Qualy**—the name, business name and address in particular. Qualy checks the document against your information and **flags any mismatch**, showing you what it found so you can update your details or re-upload a clearer copy. Documents that are out of date, cut off or blurry can be rejected. After you upload, some items confirm quickly while others—especially document review and the selfie/ID check—are handled by our verification partner and may show as **pending** for a little while. That's normal; the task clears once the review finishes. ## Signing and submitting Compliance finishes with a **digital signature**. Once you submit, Qualy processes it and confirms when it's complete—sometimes showing the **date completed**. Outstanding compliance or verification can place **payouts** in a review state until it's resolved—another reason to complete it promptly. ## Frequently asked questions ### What is the Compliance area for? Outstanding compliance or verification can place payouts in a review state until resolved. ### What documents might Qualy ask for? It depends on what's being verified. For your business this can include a certificate of incorporation, a sample tax invoice, and a recent bank statement; for an individual it can include proof of identity (passport, driver's license or national ID), proof of address, and sometimes a selfie/ID check via a verification link. Each upload screen tells you exactly what's acceptable for that item. ### What counts as proof of address? A utility bill, bank statement, or similar document dated within the last three months. If an ID document already shows a current address, it may be accepted as proof of address too. The key is that it's recent and shows the address. ### The student has no utility bill or bank statement (they're in temporary or Airbnb housing)—what can they use? No problem—the aim is simply a recent document that shows the person's name and current address. Look for anything they do have to hand that does that, and make sure the name on it matches the name entered in Qualy. The upload screen tells you what it accepts for that item. If genuinely nothing they have qualifies, don't guess—reach out to us (or your account administrator) and we'll let you know what else works for their situation. ### The name is slightly different on two of the documents—will that be a problem? It can be, because Qualy checks each document against the details you've entered and flags differences. The safest thing is to use documents where the name matches what's entered in Qualy, and to make sure the name in Qualy is the person's full, correct name. If the names differ because of something legitimate—a maiden name, a shortened first name, a spelling variant—and you're not sure which document to use, contact us (or your administrator) and we'll tell you how best to handle it rather than risk a rejection. ### Why was my document rejected or flagged? Usually because the details don't match. Make sure the name, business name and address on the document match what you entered in Qualy—Qualy checks the document against your information and flags differences. If it finds a mismatch it shows what it found so you can update your details (or re-upload a clearer document) and try again. Documents that are too old, cut off, or blurry can also be rejected. ### How long does verification take? Some checks confirm quickly; others (especially document review and the selfie/ID check) are handled by our verification partner and can sit as pending for a little while.
