Payout preferences on the same page let you require approval before payouts, set what appears on your statement, and choose which account receives funds. This is separate from a partner's bank accounts (set on each partnership). ## Overview Money you collect has to land somewhere. **Settings → Bank accounts** is where you register the accounts that receive **your** funds. ## Adding your account 1. Go to **Settings → Bank accounts** 2. Add an account with its **country** and **currency** 3. Enter the **region-specific details** (BSB/account, IBAN/BIC, routing/account, or sort code) 4. Set a **default** account These are **your** accounts. A **partner's** bank accounts are added separately on each partnership and receive that partner's payouts. ## Payout preferences On the same page, **Payout preferences** controls how you're paid out: - **Require approval** — switch this on so payouts to you need your manual approval before they're sent. - **Statement descriptor** — choose what shows on your statement when a payout arrives (for example a name, or a customer reference with the name) so it's easy to reconcile. - **Bank account selection** — when you hold accounts in several currencies, decide which one receives the funds: the currency the payment settles in (the default, which keeps currency conversion to a minimum), the currency the customer originally paid in, or the payout currency itself. Double-check account details before saving—funds are deposited based on what you enter here. Sensitive details are encrypted at rest. If you collect in several currencies, add an account per currency and let Qualy route funds appropriately. See the currency exchange guide. ## Frequently asked questions ### Where do I add my own bank account? In Settings → Bank accounts. These are the accounts where Qualy deposits the funds you collect. ### How is this different from a partner's bank account? Your accounts (in Settings) receive your funds. A partner's accounts are added on each partnership and receive that partner's payouts. ### What details do I need? The details depend on the country and currency—such as BSB and account number, IBAN and BIC, routing and account number, or a sort code. ### Can I have more than one account? Yes—useful if you receive different currencies into different accounts. You can set a default. ### Are my bank details secure? Yes. Sensitive bank account details are encrypted at rest. ### Can I receive in multiple currencies? Yes. Combined with currency exchange settings, you can collect and receive across currencies. See the FX guide. ### Can I require approval before a payout is sent? Yes. In Payout preferences on the same page, switch on approval so payouts to you need your manual sign-off before they're sent.
