# Saving views and filters

> Stop rebuilding the same filter every day.

## At a glance

## Quick summary

Filter a list the way you want, then save it as a named filter (a view). Saved filters give you quick access to the segments you care about—like a specific status or partner—and can be edited later.

## Overview

If you filter the same list the same way every morning, save yourself the clicks. A **saved view** is a named filter you can return to instantly.

## Saving a filter

1. **Filter** the list how you want—by status, type, partnership, currency, and so on
2. Choose **"Save filter"**
3. Give it a **name** (for example, "Overdue payouts" or "My VIP school")

## Reusing and editing

Your saved filter appears as a **named view** you can switch to, alongside built-in tabs like **All**, **Assigned to me** and **Assigned to my team**. You can **edit** a saved filter later as your needs change.

Create a small set of well-named views for the segments you actually work—"Overdue", "Pending review", "This month"—and your daily routine becomes one click each.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is a saved view?

A filter you've saved and named, so you can return to the same segment of a list with one click instead of rebuilding it each time.

### How do I save a filter?

Filter the list how you want, then choose 'Save filter' and give it a name.

### Can I edit a saved filter?

Yes. You can edit a saved filter later if your needs change.

### What can I filter by?

It depends on the list, but common options include status, type, partnership and currency. Save the combinations you use most.

### Where do saved filters appear?

As named views you can switch to from the list, alongside the built-in tabs like All, Assigned to me and Assigned to my team.

### Are saved filters shared or personal?

They're personal to you—a convenience for getting back to your own segments quickly. Name them clearly so they're easy to recognise.
