# The partner portal explained

## Quick summary

The partner portal lets a partner's key contacts log in to see their payouts and statement, view invoices you've raised, and pay invoices they owe. Grant access by adding contacts under a partnership's Customers & portal access.

## Overview

Partners want to know two things: **what have I been paid?** and **what do I owe?** The **partner portal** answers both, and lets partners pay you online.

## Granting access

Add the partner's **key contacts** under the partnership's **Customers & portal access**, then grant them access. They sign in much like customers do.

## What partners can do

- See their **payouts** and a **statement** of activity with you
- View **invoices** you've raised
- **Pay** invoices they owe, directly online

## What a partner sees—and what stays private

A partner only sees what's shared with them: the **customers you have in common**, and the **payment and invoice information** related to those customers. They don't see the rest of your account.

In particular, a partner **never sees a discount you've given.** You can discount a customer out of your own commission privately, and the school or partner still sees their full agreed share. Your margin stays yours.

Combine the partner portal with **self-billing (RCTI) invoices** and **net payouts**: partners see exactly what they were paid for your shared customers and can settle what they owe, with almost no manual reconciliation on your side—while your commission and discounts stay private.

### What is the partner portal?

### Is it the same as the customer portal?

It's a similar self-service experience, focused on the partner relationship—payouts, statements and invoices rather than a customer's own payments.
