Creating Payment Plans in Qualy

This guide shows you how to create single and installment payment plans in Qualy.

Creating a New Payment Plan

To create a payment plan:

  1. Select the student for whom you want to create a payment plan.
  2. Qualy will offer suggestions based on previous payment plans. You can use these suggestions or create a new plan from scratch.
  3. Enter payment details, such as the payment amount and description (e.g., “AUD 1000 Tuition Fee”). You can add multiple payments.
  4. You can duplicate existing payments or attach files (details on attaching files will be in a separate tutorial).

Using Payment Templates

Qualy offers templates to simplify the process:

  1. Select a template (e.g., “VAT Course,” “Monthly Installment Plan”).
  2. Templates can pre-fill amounts and payment schedules. Adjust the details as needed. For example, a monthly installment plan might let you specify the total course fee (e.g., EUR 14,500) and the desired number of installments (e.g., 3). Qualy will automatically calculate the payment amounts and due dates.
  3. You can modify the number of installments, amounts, and due dates.

Tip: Experiment with different templates to find the best fit for your payment plans.

Splitting Payments with Schools

Qualy can automatically calculate and split payments between the school and your Partnership based on your commission rate.

  1. During payment plan creation, specify the commission percentage.
  2. Qualy will automatically calculate the amounts for both the school and your commission.
  3. In some cases, the template settings dictate how commission is handled and the method might vary.

Tip: Always review your payment plan details and commission calculations before saving.

Saving and Sharing

  1. Once you’ve completed your payment plan, click “Save.”
  2. The payment plan is added to the student’s profile for easy access.
  3. An email notification is sent to the student providing access to their payment plan via the student portal.
  4. You can offer students the option to set up direct debit payments.
