Setting Up Default Commission Splits in Qualy

When creating payments and splitting them with schools or other Partnerships, you can set default commission rates or splits in Qualy. Qualy will then automatically apply this information.

Here’s how to set up your default commission splits:

  1. Open the relevant Partnership profile.
  2. Navigate to the ‘Banking and Split’ section.
  3. At the bottom, you’ll find the ‘Payment Split’ section.
  4. Add a new payment split. For example, you might want to set a 40% commission for a specific school, perhaps with exclusive GST as part of a summer special offer.

Tip: Clearly name your splits (e.g., “Summer Special 40%”) for easy identification later.

Now, when you create a payment and select this school, Qualy will automatically apply the 40% commission and any other specified conditions (like GST). You won’t need to manually enter this information each time.

For example, if you create a payment of USD 8000 for this school, Qualy will automatically calculate and allocate the payment according to the pre-defined split.

Tip: Using default commission splits saves you time and ensures consistency in your payment processing.

Managing Existing Payment Splits

You can easily view and manage your existing payment splits within the ‘Payment Split’ section. Make sure your splits are up to date and reflect current agreements with your schools and Partnerships.

Frequently asked questions.

  • While Qualy automatically applies default splits, you can always manually adjust the percentages for individual payments during the payment creation process.

  • Yes, you can define unique commission splits for each school you work with. This allows for flexible arrangements based on individual agreements.

  • If you don't configure a default commission split, you'll need to manually enter the split percentage for each payment you create.
