# Embedding services and sharing links

> Bring Qualy checkout to your website and links.

## Quick summary

A Qualy service can be sold on your own website or shared as a link, so customers can order and pay without you creating the payment first. On the service, open Distribution channels, turn on where customers can buy (Customer portal and/or Public storefront), then copy a Quick link or the Embed buy button code and place it where your customers are.

## Overview

Not every sale should start with you. By putting a Qualy service on your own website—or sharing it as a **link**—customers can order and pay for themselves, and an order is created automatically.

## Choosing where customers can buy

On the service, open **Distribution channels** and turn on how you want to sell it:

- **Customer portal** — logged-in customers can see and buy the service in their portal
- **Public storefront** — anyone can view and buy without logging in

If you only turn on the Customer portal, your links will work for **logged-in customers only**. Turn on the Public storefront when you want anyone to be able to buy.

## Getting a link or button

Once a channel is on, a **Quick links** section gives you ready-to-use options:

1. **Hosted page** — a link to a ready-made page for the service
2. **Direct purchase link** — a link that takes the customer straight to buying
3. **Embed buy button** — copy the code for a **Buy now** button to add to your own website

## Placing it

- **Share a link** by email, message, or anywhere you reach customers, or
- **Add the buy button** to a page of your website by pasting in the code

The buy button matches your website's look, and the checkout reflects **your branding** (or a partner's where configured), so it feels like a natural part of your site. If you need a hand adding the code, your developer can drop it in.

## What happens next

When a customer orders through a link or the buy button, Qualy creates an **order** that moves through the service's **steps**—exactly like an order you'd create yourself. Payments, forms and data all flow into the same back office.

Use links and the buy button for your standard offerings so prospects can buy at any hour, and reserve manually created payments for bespoke arrangements.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can customers order from my website?

Yes. You can add a Qualy service to your own site or share it as a link, so customers can order and pay themselves—no need for you to create each payment first.

### Where do I get the link or button code?

On the service, open Distribution channels. Once you've turned on a channel, the Quick links section gives you a Hosted page link, a Direct purchase link, and an Embed buy button you can copy.

### What's the difference between the channels?

Customer portal lets logged-in customers buy the service in their portal. Public storefront lets anyone buy without logging in. You can turn on one or both.

### What's the difference between this and a payment link?

A payment link points to a specific payment you've created. Sharing a service lets customers start a new order and pay for the service themselves.

### Does the checkout carry my branding?

Yes—the buy button matches your website's look and the checkout reflects your branding (or a partner's, where configured), so it feels like part of your site.

### What happens after a customer orders this way?

An order is created in Qualy and moves through the service's steps, just like any other order—so your back office stays consistent.

### Can I share a link without a website?

Yes. A link works on its own—send it by email, message, or put it behind a button anywhere.

## Prefer doing this via the Qualy API?
