Qualy then keeps your Zoho contacts in step with your customers—one-way, from Qualy to Zoho. Each contact carries custom fields for the Qualy number, visa details and payment status (amount due, number overdue, next due date, next payment and a pay link), and each payment is logged as a note on the contact. One setup note: Qualy writes into custom fields that must exist in your Zoho org—we create these with you during onboarding. ## Overview The Zoho integration keeps your **Zoho CRM** contacts in step with your Qualy customers, so your sales team sees who's paying and what's outstanding right on the record. It's a **one-way** sync, from **Qualy to Zoho**. ## Connecting Zoho Open **Settings → Add-ons & integrations**. Find **Zoho CRM** and choose **Connect**, then authorise Qualy in Zoho. Pick your **Zoho datacenter**—the region your Zoho account lives in (com, eu, in, com.au, jp or com.cn). Choose the **right datacenter**. Zoho hosts accounts in regional datacenters, and a connection pointed at the wrong one can't reach your data. ## What reaches each Zoho contact - **Standard details** — name, email, phone, date of birth and mailing address - **Custom fields** — the Qualy number, visa details (issued, expiry, country) and the account name from the customer's partnerships - **Payment fields** — amount due, number overdue, next due date, next payment and a pay link - **Tags** — the customer's Qualy tags - **Notes** — each payment is logged as a note on the contact, giving you a running history ## A setup note about custom fields Qualy writes payment and profile data into **custom fields that must already exist** in your Zoho org—Zoho rejects writes to fields that aren't there, and there's no auto-creation. We set these fields up with you during onboarding. If the Qualy fields on a contact look empty, that's the first thing to check. ## Matching and reliability Contacts match by **email address**, so keeping emails correct is what makes the sync land on the right record. Qualy refreshes its Zoho access automatically; if Zoho permanently rejects that authorisation, Qualy disconnects the integration rather than keep failing—reconnect it from **Settings → Add-ons & integrations**. Build Zoho views and workflows on the Qualy payment fields—for example, a view of contacts with an overdue balance, or a follow-up when the next due date is near. ## Frequently asked questions ### Does Zoho sync both ways? No—it's one-way, from Qualy to Zoho CRM. Qualy keeps your Zoho contacts current; changes in Zoho don't flow back to Qualy. ### What ends up on a Zoho contact? Standard details (name, email, phone, date of birth, mailing address), plus custom fields for the Qualy number, visa details (issued, expiry, country) and the account name from the customer's partnerships. Payment custom fields carry the amount due, number overdue, next due date, next payment and a pay link. Each payment (transaction) is also logged as a note on the contact. ### The Qualy payment fields on my contacts are empty. Why? Those custom fields have to exist in your Zoho org for Qualy to write to them—Zoho rejects writes to fields that aren't there. We set these up with you during onboarding; if they're empty, that's the first thing to check. ### Which Zoho datacenter do I choose? The one your Zoho account lives in—com (US), eu (Europe), in (India), com.au (Australia), jp (Japan) or com.cn (China). Picking the wrong datacenter is the usual reason a fresh connection can't reach your data. ### How are contacts matched? By email address. Keep emails correct and consistent so customers line up with the right Zoho contact. ### My Zoho connection dropped. What happened? If Zoho permanently rejects the stored authorisation, Qualy disconnects the integration rather than keep failing.
