Storing Documents in Qualy

Qualy offers a convenient way to store and manage student documents, similar to services like Google Drive or Dropbox. You can easily upload documents, create folders for organization, and make these documents accessible to your students through their Qualy portal.

How to Store and Share Documents

  1. Create a Folder: Begin by creating a folder to organize your documents. For example, you might create a folder called “Visa” to store visa-related documents.

  2. Upload Documents: Upload your documents into the newly created folder. You can add multiple documents to the same folder. For example, you could upload a COE, visa, passport, and air tickets to a student’s folder.

  3. Add Additional Documents Outside the Folder (Optional): You can add documents outside any created folders if needed. This allows for greater flexibility in organizing your documents.

  4. Student Portal Access: Qualy automatically makes these uploaded documents visible to the student via their portal. This provides easy access for students to review their important documentation.

Tip: Keep your student document folders organized for easy retrieval. Using clear, descriptive folder names is essential for efficient management.

Student Portal View

Students have access to view the documents you upload for them, but currently cannot upload or modify them. If you remove or add documents, the student’s portal view will update instantly.

Important Note: The student’s view is read-only. This ensures the integrity and security of the official documents.

Frequently asked questions.

  • Currently, students can only view documents uploaded by Partnerships. They cannot upload or modify documents themselves.

  • You can upload any relevant student documents, such as the Certificate of Enrolment (COE), visa, passport, and air tickets.

  • Any changes you make to the documents (adding, removing, or updating) are immediately reflected in the student portal.

  • Qualy's document storage functions similarly to Google Drive or Dropbox, allowing you to create folders and upload multiple documents. However, Qualy also provides the added benefit of directly sharing these documents with your students via their portal.
