Paying your school partner upfront

Sometimes, you might need to pay your school partner before the student has completed their payment. Perhaps you have a guaranteed payment from the student, or you want to expedite the process. Qualy allows you to do just that!

How to pay your partner via Qualy

Here’s how you can pay your school partner using Qualy, even before receiving payment from your student:

  1. Locate the Split Information: In your Qualy dashboard, you’ll find the split information detailing the payment breakdown between the school and your commission.

  2. Initiate Payment: Click on the “Pay partner via Qualy” button.

  3. Select Payment Method: Qualy will display the available payment options. In this example, we used a direct debit.

  4. Authorize Your Bank (if necessary): If it’s your first time using this feature, you’ll need to authorize Qualy to access your bank account. Click “Authorize” and follow your bank’s instructions to approve the direct debit agreement.

  5. Review Payment Details: Qualy will clearly show you the amount being debited (the school’s payment), and confirm that once your student pays, your commission will be sent to you.

  6. Confirm Payment: Once you’ve reviewed and verified the information, proceed with the payment.

  7. Monitor Payment Status: Qualy will process the payment. This might take a few seconds to a few minutes as Qualy contacts your bank. You can track the progress within the system.

Tip: The payment status will change to “Due” while Qualy is processing the payment. Once complete, it will change to “Paid”. You’ll also receive email confirmations. If you need to resend the email confirmation to the school, this option is available within Qualy.

Important Note: If the student does not pay, the funds you sent to the school will remain with the school.

What happens after your student pays?

Once your student completes their payment (e.g., AUD 1500), Qualy will automatically send your commission to you and the payment will be marked as paid on the Qualy platform. The initial payment sent directly to the school will not be reversed or impacted.

  • If the student doesn't pay, Qualy will not send the payment to you. The funds you initially sent to the school will remain with the school.

  • This feature is available for applicable payments. Check the split information within Qualy to see if the "Pay partner via Qualy" option is available.

  • The payment process may take a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on your bank's processing time. Qualy will keep you updated on the status.

  • The available payment methods will be shown in Qualy. In the example provided, a direct debit option was available.
